Cookies

The short version

This site sets no cookies. Nothing is written to your device — no cookies, no local storage, no session storage. That is why there is no cookie banner here: consent is required for storing things on your device, and we store nothing, so there is nothing to ask you about.

Our own statistics — no cookies, no consent needed

We want to know which pages are read and which are ignored, so we useKlyfa, an analytics platform we built and host ourselves. It works without storing anything in your browser:

• Your visit is counted using an identifier calculated on our server from your IP address, your browser's user-agent string, and a secret value we rotate on a schedule.
• Because that secret rotates, the identifier cannot be used to recognise you over the longer term, and it cannot be reversed to recover your IP address.
• We record which page was viewed, roughly how long you spent on it, which site you arrived from, and whether you submitted a form. We do not build a profile of you and we do not follow you to other sites.
• Clicks between pages here are not recorded as a referral — only the site you arrived from is, and only if it is not us.

Nothing is written to or read from your device, which is why this part does not ask your permission — consent rules cover storing and reading data on your equipment, and this does neither.

Plausible — also no cookies, also no consent needed

Alongside our own statistics we run Plausible, an analytics service from Plausible Insights OÜ, an Estonian company, on servers inside the EU. We are running both while we decide which one we keep, so for now the same visit is counted twice — once by us, once by them.

Plausible works the same way ours does, and this is why it is here rather than behind a banner: it sets no cookie and reads nothing from your device. Your visit is counted against a hash of your IP address and user-agent that is regenerated daily, and your IP address is discarded rather than stored. It records the page, the site you arrived from, your country, and broad browser and device categories — not a profile, and nothing that follows you elsewhere. Plausible processes this on our instructions under a data processing agreement and does not use it for its own purposes. Your browser never contacts Plausible directly: the measurement is relayed through tradeexpansion.com and passed on to them from there.

A Global Privacy Control signal stops both. Send one and neither system records anything at all — not an anonymous count, nothing.

What we never use

No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no session recording, and no advertising or retargeting tags of any kind. The only analytics on this site are the two named above, both cookieless. We do not sell or share your data with data brokers.

Fonts and assets

All fonts, styles, images and scripts are served from our own domain — including Plausible's, which we relay rather than load from them. Nothing on the page reaches out to a third party on its own.

If we add anything else that stores data on your device, it goes behind the same consent step and this page is updated first. See our privacy policy for how we handle information you actively submit through a form.
